Hello! I’m Lunaa. Having grown up in different places and cultures, I’ve come to deeply appreciate the richness of diverse perspectives and the many ways people make sense of their lives. This background has shaped my curiosity about identity, belonging, and how we carry our
stories. I have experience working in intensive outpatient programs and university counseling centers, supporting individuals with concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity exploration, relationship challenges, trauma, and substance use. These experiences continue to inform how I show up in the therapy room—with respect, care, and a commitment to meeting each person where they are.
In therapy, I integrate a person-centered and holistic approach, drawing from Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), existentialism, Motivational Interviewing, and narrative therapy. I’m also influenced by the principles of Taoism, which invite us to move with the natural rhythms of life, trust the process of unfolding, and find
strength in softness. These ideas shape how I think about healing—not as a straight line, but as a return to balance, clarity, and connection.
My therapeutic approach is person-centered and holistic, rooted in empathy, curiosity, and purposeful attention. I care deeply about honoring the cultural background, values, and unique identity you bring to therapy. I aim to offer a space that is warm, thoughtful, and gently challenging, where you feel safe enough to speak honestly, reflect deeply, and move toward what feels true for you.
I will be interning at Hazel House through May 2026, and I’d welcome a free, no-obligation phone call to see if we might be a good fit for one another.
I am a student intern working toward my Master’s degree at Vanderbilt University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have professional membership in the American Counseling Association and I am currently being supervised by Vanderbilt faculty and Dr. Lindsay Vaughn, Psy.D., HSP, CSP.

My therapeutic approach is person-centered and holistic, rooted in empathy, curiosity, and purposeful attention.
