It’s wonderful to meet you — I’m Rachel! My journey into the field of counseling has been shaped by a diverse range of personal and professional experiences. Early explorations in the field of medicine sparked my passion for meaningful connection and holistic health. Over time, I realized that what truly called to me was the opportunity to support others in healing and growing from the inside out.

With a background in collegiate athletics, I deeply believe that well-being is an interconnected system — with mental health at its core. I view counseling as a unique space where deep emotional work and mind-body integration come together, creating the foundation for you to bloom into your most authentic self.

My therapeutic approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and somatically informed. I draw from attachment theory, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), relational-cultural, and systemic frameworks to support the whole person. I also hold a deep appreciation for decolonized healing practices, and while I am still learning, I’m committed to thoughtfully integrating them into my work.

I believe each person carries innate resilience, courage, and confidence — even when it doesn’t feel accessible. My intention is to create a supportive and attuned space where you feel safe to explore, heal, and grow. I’m a curious, process-oriented soul who believes that reconnecting with your true self is key to living joyfully.

I am a student intern working toward my Master’s degree at Vanderbilt in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have professional membership in the ___  and I am currently being supervised by Vanderbilt University faculty and Dr. Lindsay Vaughn, Psy.D., HSP, CSP.
